Slipway: divers on site for underwater concreting of walls and slab; full length of berthing wall concreted toe beam concreting begun; slab concreting 30 per cent complete
Timber Alignment Structure: fender pile bases - 6 cast (out of 9); fenders, timber piles and timber structure - 30 per cent complete.

Meanwhile on April 12, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar gave notice that it was seeking a Harbour Empowerment Order to establish a harbour at Aird Mhor on Barra which will be like its Eriskay counterpart with a rubble mound breakwater and a concrete slipway with timber alignment structure.

Slipway: mass concrete berthing wall - 45m cast to date;
divers on site for underwater shuttering and concreting;
slab 20m at half width of the slipway has been cast and a further 10m has been shuttered and the reinforcement fixed; pile concrete foundations 5 out of 9 cast to date;
greenheart fender piles - four of the single and one of the double piles have been erected; slipway toe shutter (to cast a quarter of the mass concrete toe) made and erected
