Recycling Points throughout the Western Isles.

Creed Park Household Recycling Centre

Comhairle nan Eilean Siar have opened a Recycling Centre for the disposal of items of household waste. The facility is located at the Creed Park Recycling Plant on the Lochs Road.

The new site is open to the public for the disposal of Household Waste:

Individual skips are available to recycle the following materials:

• Wood / Timber
• Metals
• Green Waste / Garden Waste (no top soil with stones)
• General Waste

 Other items which are accepted for recycling include:

• Fridges / Freezers
• Cookers / Washing Machines / Tumble Dryers
• TV's, Computers, Monitors
• Small Electrical items (i.e. Kettles, Toasters, Hairdryers etc)

In addition, you can also take your recycled cans, plastic, glass and paper to the centre.

Bennadrove Landfill and Civic Amenity Site

Bennadrove Landfill and Civic Amenity Site will continue to accept chargeable Commercial Waste, Industrial Waste, Construction & Demolition Waste, Builders Rubble, and Top Soil with Stones.

Fees and Charges

Open public holidays with the exception of Christmas Day and New Years Day
