Fees – Searches
Searches can be carried out to trace a particular event such a birth, death or marriage, or to obtain more general information for genealogy purposes ie when researching family records.
The basic fees are shown below, but as fees vary depending on the information required, please contact your Local Registration Office for more details and for any search fees not listed here.

Note: in cases where two copies of the same entry are required at the same time, following a search, the fee is £25.00 (if the extracts would have cost £15.00 each).
