Strategic Housing Investment Plan

The main purpose of the Strategic Housing Investment Plan (SHIP) is to set out the Comhairle’s priorities for delivering new affordable housing.

The SHIP supports the aims and objectives of the Local Housing Strategy (LHS).  The SHIP covers a 5 year period from 2023/24-2027/28 and was approved by the Comhairle in September 2022.

The SHIP has been produced in partnership with Hebridean Housing Partnership (HHP), the main Registered Social Landlord in the Outer Hebrides.
