Creativity and Wellbeing Talk and Workshop
Talk and Workshop With Science Ceilidh
Ever wonder about the link between creativity and wellbeing? Keen to celebrate the creativity already on the Western Isles and try something new? Come join us at Stornoway Library for this evening of two parts - you are welcome to stay for either and both sessions!
WEDNESDAY 6 MARCH
6pm - RELAXED TALK
Come join a relaxed talk and discussion about the science around creativity and wellbeing over a cup of tea and snacks with neuroscience and arts educator and Lewis Hou (Science Ceilidh). The talk follows on from his previous visit discussing bilingualism and the brain in October 2018 with An Lanntair Cianalas - questions welcome, no science or creative background needed. 7.15 pm - FUN PALACES WORKSHOP
After the talk, we will organise a workshop about how we could celebrate everyday creativity across the Western Isles. This could link with the "Fun Palaces" campaign which celebrates culture (arts, science, heritage, technology and local talents) as the heart of every community with everyone young and older on 5-6 October 2019.
