Skipinnish said: “We are absolutely delighted to be performing on Lewis as part of Dileab. Since Skipinnish began, the people of Lewis and Harris have given us huge support and we are delighted to be playing for them during our 20th anniversary year. It is always magical to see our lead singer, Norrie MacIver perform on home turf. Keyboard player, Alasdair Iain Patterson also has strong family links to Lewis and these island connections will be felt strongly on the night. This will be a concert that we will all remember for years to come.”
Evelyn Coull Macleod, Multimedia Manager, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have secured Skipinnish, the Tumbling Souls and Face the West. Following on from the success of Dileab (Legacy) in 2018 it was decided that the project would continue in different forms and those who are fortunate enough to secure tickets for this one-off event are guaranteed a fantastic evening of music. What is really special about this is the opportunity our young people are getting to perform alongside some of Scotland's leading musicians and we hope it will be an unforgettable evening.”
