Armed Forces Day takes place in June each year. It is a chance for the public to show support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community.
Convener of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, Cllr Kenny Macleod, said:
“Armed Forces Day gives us an opportunity to recognise the service of current and past members of the armed forces. I would encourage members of the public to show their respect and gratitude to past and present armed forces community and attend their local event.
