The original fault, which was reported earlier this month, was fixed on Wednesday this week and the facility re-opened to the public for the remainder of the day. On Thursday morning, the Sauna was then unable to reach the expected operating temperature, and contractors were on site to investigate the issue.

The Sauna requires a new heating control unit and heater element to be installed before it can reopen again. These parts are being procured, and the work will be carried out as soon as is possible. An update will be provided once the facility is available to the public again.
