The Health and Social Care Integration Scheme sets out how Comhairle nan Eilean Siar and NHS Western Isles work together to deliver integrate services. The revised scheme builds on the good working relationship between the organisations with a focus on improving outcomes for individuals in the Western Isles.

Public comments will help shape the work of the IJB as defined by the Scheme over the next 3 years. The IJB are conducting this consultation in order to ensure that the Scheme is fit for purpose and meets the needs of the population of the Western Isles. The consultation will close on 24 June.

The IJB Scheme of Integration has been revised as part of Western Isles Integrated Joint Board's (IJB) obligations as a public body under the Public Bodies (Joint working) (Scotland) Act 2014.
