All private bus operators in Lewis and Harris have been advised to cancel their services.  Bus services in Uist and Barra are liable to disruption or cancellation at short notice.

The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for wind covering Lewis and Harris from 11.59pm on Friday 3 October to 9pm on Saturday 4 October. The decision to cancel bus services has been taken to prioritise the safety of bus drivers, passengers, and other road users.

If you intend to travel on any bus in Uist and Barra on Saturday 4 October please contact your service operator for a service status update.
