Community Learning Classes and Workshops

Coronavirus (COVID-19 )
Community Learning Hebrides are currently finding ways forward with adult learning classes during these unprecedented times.  The likelihood is that most of our learning will be provided in an online format for the next few months.  We are working on a class to class basis to make this happen and information about these classes will be shown below under 'Class & Workshop Programme' and on the Community Learning Hebrides (Opens in a new window or downloads a file) Facebook page. It is unlikely we will have a Programme of Learning until Autumn 2020 and it will be individual classes that will be available as we resolve ways to keep learners and tutors safe, class by class.  Many thanks for your interest in our adult learning classes, The CLH Team.

If you are aware of any learning needs in your community please let us know on 01851 822 718 or e-mail us at  clh@cne-siar.gov.uk

If you have a skill or interest that you’d like to share with others in your community, you might be interested in becoming an Adult Learning Community Tutor.    Community Tutors work on a flexible basis depending on their availability and class demand (anywhere from 6 to 80 hours per year).  No formal qualification or teaching experience is required, but rather good experience in the subject area and proven ability to communicate well with others.  If you’re interested in finding out more, we’d love to hear from you! Please contact (01851) 822718 or email  clh@cne-siar.gov.uk
