St Brendan’s Care Home opened in January 1980.  It is joined to St Brendan’s Hospital, albeit a separate entity in terms of management and purpose.  St Brendan’s has 8 permanent places, and 2 respite places.  The Care Home and Hospital share the kitchen and laundry.      

Day Care is also provided in both parts of the Care Home, for Older People who remain living in their own homes in the wider community. 

The Care Home is non-denominational and resident’s religious and spiritual needs are respected.
