The plan is framed around the same long-term goals as the national plan which has been co-produced with BSL users across Scotland. The Comhairle is commitment to improving access to services for those using the language, and raising awareness of BSL.
The Local Child Poverty Action Report has been integrated into our Anti-Poverty Strategy and, as well as providing background information and statistical information about poverty in the Western Isles, it sets out key actions that services have committed to, working in collaboration, to address poverty.
