Question

I am writing to request information in relation to all applications publicised by your Authority, under the provisions of Regulation 20 of The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2008 and it's subsequent amendment The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013.

The information I am requesting in relation to these applications is:-

Description of proposed works
Applicant name and address
Agent name, address, e-mail address and telephone number
Application fee charged
Advertisement fee charged
Date application valid
Date application was publicised

2. Do you deal with the relevant newspaper directly or do you use an agent to do this in your behalf? 
3. If you use an agent, can you also confirm who they are and when any current contract you have with them expires? 
4. Do they charge you a fixed yearly fee or charge per advertisement placed? 
5. What records management system do you currently use to record and process Planning Applications? 
6. Who is your current supplier for these systems?
7. When do your current contracts with these suppliers expire? 
8. Are you charged maintenance fees for the systems?

2. Do you deal with the relevant newspaper directly or do you use an agent to do this in your behalf?  For applications publicised under the provisions of Regulation 20 of The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2008 and its subsequent amendment, The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar deals directly with the relevant newspaper.
3. If you use an agent, can you also confirm who they are and when any current contract you have with them expires?  See previous response.
4. Do they charge you a fixed yearly fee or charge per advertisement placed?  The newspapers charge per advertisement placed.
5. What records management system do you currently use to record and process Planning Applications?  Comhairle nan Eilean Siar’s Planning Service uses the EDRMS record management system.
6. Who is your current supplier for these systems? EDRMS record management system is supplied by IDOX.
7. When do your current contracts with these suppliers expire?  IDOX currently supply this service on a rolling contract.
8. Are you charged maintenance fees for the systems? Comhairle nan Eilean Siar is charged a maintenance fee for this system.
