Question

I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information:  

1. Please can you tell me how many knives or bladed weapons have been confiscated from pupils at schools in your council region since October 29, 2015 (if exact dates are not recorded, please tell me how many from the start of the 2015-2016 school year onwards). If possible, please tell me the age of the pupil caught with the knife or whether it was secondary or primary school.
2. How many knives were confiscated from pupils per year for each of the last five school years (12-13, 13-14, 14-15, 15-16, 16-17).
3. What, if any, action was taken when a weapon was confiscated on these occasions.
