The Chief Social Work Officer for Comhairle nan Eilean Siar was Maria Mackay: Head of Children’s Services/Chief Social Work Officer: Comhairle nan Eilean Siar: Sandwick Road: Stornoway: Isle of Lewis HS1 2BW.  Maria retired on 21 July 2017.
The post has been advertised and it is hoped that an appointment will be made in the near future.  In the interim period the Chief Social Work Officer duties are being undertaken by Jack Libby, Children’s Service Manager.  Michelle Miller CSWO, Edinburgh City is providing support on an Advisory capacity until such time as a full time appointment is made.
