Waiting Lists For Council Run Nursing Homes

Question

Could I request the following information under freedom of information legislation:  

• The number of people on waiting lists for council run nursing homes within the local authority, over the past 5 financial years (including 2016/17) ?

Answer

Comhairle nan Eilean Siar do not have any nursing homes, we only have care homes.  There are two nursing homes on the island but they are in the private sector.
