Community Transport

Question

1, Please provide a copy of all letters and emails to all the Community Transport Providers who work for the local authority under a section 19 permit and 22 permit and also their responses.
 
2, Please supply details of all the road transport contracts currently undertaken by these groups to include special education needs, home to school, social services contracts and Dial-a-Ride, I do not require the cost of the contracts or the contract number, just the route and the description and or destination.

1, Please provide a copy of all letters and emails to all the Community Transport Providers who work for the local authority under a section 19 permit and 22 permit and also their responses. 

Please see attached.  We have taken this to mean letters and emails in the current financial year relating section 19 and 22 permits.

2, Please supply details of all the road transport contracts currently undertaken by these groups to include special education needs, home to school, social services contracts and Dial-a-Ride, I do not require the cost of the contracts or the contract number, just the route and the description and or destination.

The Western Isles Council (Comhairle nan Eilean Siar) contract with two community transport providers. 

Third Sector Hebrides (Staran CIC)  - two public bus services (S22) and one school only service (S19)

·         Contract reference NL2 (public and school feeder) Grimshader village to Stornoway 

·         Contract reference SL9 (public evening service on Saturdays) South Lochs to Stornoway 

·         Contract reference HA14 (school only) Boglass to Tarbert, Harris

Tagsa Uibhist – one school only service (S19).

·         Contract reference NU10 (school only) Baleshare Island to Paible, North Uist
