We have compiled a list of councils and their pavement barrier guidelines, their terms and their application forms so anyone planning to establish a pavement café will have a single place to go rather than sift through dozens of websites trying to find the correct contact details.
The list will contain your telephone contact number, email address, and a link to any pavement café guidelines you may have, any application form you may have, and any of your terms and conditions.
Would it be possible for you to just check the details are correct before we publish? If we do not hear anything from you, we will assume you are happy with your entry. If you do not have any guidelines, we will be happy to provide a generic specification which covers health and safety, disability discrimination (Low profile base for wheel chair users, lower tapping rail etc)
At present we do not have specific forms or guidelines for pavement cafes occupying the footpath, our road occupancy application forms tend to relate to building works. Ok with using generic guidelines for this.
The contact for initial enquiries should be Tel 01851 600 501 and email@example.com (Opens in a new window or downloads a file)
