I have listed our questions below –  

  1. How many packages of 24 hour care did the Local Authority commission between 01.01.2017 – 21.06.2018?
  2. How many of these packages were awarded to Agincare Live-in Care Services LTD between 01.01.2017 – 21.06.2018?
  3. What is the name and contact information for both the Brokerage Manager and the Head of your Contracts team?


Question 1
The Comhairle have assumed  packages of 24 hour care to mean care in the community rather than residential care.
There have been 3 packages of 24 hour care commissioned between 1/1/2017 and 21/6/18.

Question 2
No packages of care were awarded to Agincare Live In Care Services Ltd between 1/1/17 and 21/6/18 – this service is not available in our area.

Question 3
Our Department does not have a Brokerage Manager or a Head of Contracts.  Our Commissioning Manager is Kirsty Street, Strategic Commissioning and Partnership Services Manager, Social & Community Services Department, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, Sandwick Road, Stornoway, HS1 2BW
