Football Pitches And Indoor Facilities

Question

I would like to request the following information:

a) The number of football pitches operated by the council, including 5-a-side and indoor facilities, which can be used free of charge by members of the public from the year 2010 to the present day, broken down by year.
b) The number of football pitches operated by the council, including 5-a-side and indoor facilities, which members of the public must pay a fee to use, from the year 2010 to the present day, broken down by year.

Answer

a.  The number of football pitches operated by the council, including 5-a-side and indoor facilities, which can be used free of charge by members of the public from the year 2010 to the present day, broken down by year.  The Comhairle currently have no free use football pitches or indoor facilities.

b. The number of football pitches operated by the council, including 5-a-side and indoor facilities, which members of the public must pay a fee to use, from the year 2010 to the present day, broken down by year.

7 grass pitches; all have been available every year since 2010.
 

1 x full size all weather pitch; available every year since 2010.

1 x 51m x 35m all weather pitch; available since 2013.
 

1 x 60m x 40m all weather pitch; available since July 2011.

1 x 60m x 40m all weather pitch; available since December 2011.

1 x 60m x 40m all weather pitch; available since March 2012.

1 x 60m x 40m all weather pitch; available since December 2017.
 

We have four main sports facilities with multi use Games Halls. These are used for five a side football alongside many other activities. These have all been available every year since 2010.
