Answer
National Records of Scotland has a dedicated statistics department, Vital Events Branch, vitalevents@nrscotland.gov.uk which can supply the information requested for every council in Scotland.
At present Vital Events have only published marriage statistics up to the end of March 2018 (in the 2018/Q1 publication, June 13) and won’t be able to provide more up to date statistics until they have published the 2018/Q2 stats (September 12): the information is exempt under section 27(1), as
“It is held with a view to its being published by a Scottish public authority at a date not later than twelve weeks after that on which the request for the information is made.”
However, if you wish to revise the time period to April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018, then they can be provided with the statistics for that period broken down into religious/civil weddings as requested.
