There is an increasing number of opportunities for care experienced young people to share their voice and lived experience to help make the care experience in the Western Isles better. To support the implementation of The Promise and to improve the care experience, we have a Promise Champions group of young people up to age 25 who meet monthly to discuss issues important to them, and views are shared with the Children and Young Peoples Planning Partnership (CYPPP) to influence local change.
