Running every Wednesday from 3–5pm, the sessions are designed to help parents, carers, and children with phonetics, pronunciation, and general homework support. They also offer a welcoming space for families to strengthen their Gaelic together, particularly where Gaelic may not be the language of the home.

Currently, 58% of Primary 1 pupils in the Western Isles are enrolled in Gaelic Medium Education (GME), with 48% across the primary school sector. These new sessions highlight a commitment to supporting both learners and their families on their Gaelic journey, ensuring that the language is strengthened in school, at home, and in the community.
